Welcome to the Final edition of Zoo News for 2023.

“Warmest wishes and heartfelt thanks to all our valued clients for collaborating with us to make 2023 a remarkable year. It has been an exceptionally busy year and a special word of gratitude goes to everyone involved for their patience, we are optimistic for the future and excited about the opportunities it presents.

I extend my sincere appreciation to the Atherton Team for their unwavering dedication and hard work throughout the year. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by everyone has been a cornerstone of our success.

Its been an exciting few months kicking off with our booth and presentation at the SRACA National Conference in Melbourne in August. It was great to see so many there, for those that couldn’t make it we have plenty of pictures. In this edition of Zoo News, we have an interview with Sarah Hicks. Sarah is a CSSD Supervisor at Tamara Hospital in Tamworth. Also if you are looking for training opportunities don’t miss out on signing up for the final Atherton Study Day of the year on December 14 – more information on that free seminar in the newsletter.

In closing, I wish every member of our team and all our customers, on behalf of Atherton, a festive and joyful holiday season and a splendid New Year. We are looking forward to seeing you all in 2024

SRACA National Conference

Atherton was the gold sponsor at this year’s Federation of Sterilizing Research Advisory Councils of Australia (FSRACA) National Conference held 9-11 August at the Centrepiece Melbourne Park.

We were very proud of the stand, which looked fantastic and showcased the Tiger steam sterilizer, a Dragon Low-Temperature Plasma sterilizer, a Platypus IQ6 Washer Disinfector with the new Echidna Robot loading system and a Kangaroo drying cabinet along with height adjustable sinks.

The Echidna Robot Guided Vehicle was a real crowd-pleaser and stirred a lot of interest from the attendees. We were also very pleased to host a symposium session on the advancements in robotics entitled “Robotics – what does it mean for the future of CSSDs.”

For those of you who didn’t get a chance to attend, here are some photos of the and a video of the Echidna.

If you would like more information about the Echidna or the rest of the Atherton range contact us at salesandservice@atherton.net or phone on 1300 580 870.
